DPA Executive Director Mr. Mam Sambath participated in an Issue Briefing Workshop on the impact of mining expansion on local communities on November 13 in Phnom Penh. His presentation was entitled “Promoting Responsible Mining in Cambodia” and outlined both challenges and recommendations going forward. Mr. Sambath was one of eight presenters representing government, civil society, and affected citizenry.
