Advocacy project background

Advocacy project is one of Partnership and Advocacy Programme (PAP) continues to employ the strategies focusing on evidence-based advocacy that foster relationships with national & regional networks on NRM, Climate Change, and Agriculture, build linkages with relevant regional and international mechanisms, work in collaboration with the emerging EIGF CSO alliance, strengthen the provincial EISEI working groups and improve DPA representation at the provincial NRM networks (collective joint actions where appropriate) and increased focus on the policy dialogue. At the community level, the project is working to increase Community Managed Environmental Groups (CMEG) in using legal frameworks and tools on NRM and improve financial stability,

increase information sharing among WEDs in carrying out their work, Power holders and Environmental networks appreciate the value of CMEG meaningful participation.
