A national network meeting on 37th Extractive Industrial on Social and Environment Impacts (EISEI) organized with CSO and community representative on 2 October 2019 undertaken at Sen Han hotel in Phnom Penh. At least 57 people in 9females were attended this meeting to contribute their inputs. The meeting has accompanied by the following agenda: (1) welcome remark and update on the progress of EISEI network (2) sharing on the CSR tool assessment (3) sharing on Results of search study on Granting License of Mining exploration and exploiting (4) update on the mining issues from network members and; sharing on the results of EISEI steering committee meeting.
It should be highlights that, EISEI is a national network that working on to communicate and promote knowledge sharing over extractive industrials (EI) issues happening in Cambodia. The network envisions providing a solid foundation for education, technical support and advocacy initiatives to address concerns of communities and civil society on EI in Cambodia.
This workshop was co/facilitated and associated by DPA, Oxfam, SVG, NTFP, CPN, CLEC and RDA who are steering committee member of EISEI network.
