EISEI Network Secretariate organized 48th EISEI Network Meeting on 17th June 2025 at HIMAWI Hotel, Phnom Penh. There 40 EISEI network member participation. Mr. Mam Sambath, permanent EISEI steering committee and EISEI committee members initiated this essential meeting by inviting H.E Meas Sokeo, Under Secretary of State in The Ministry of Justice and a member of Nation Authority for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for sharing Alternative Depute Resolution. Mr. Ro Channarith, vice-deputy of Hazardous Substances Management, Department Ministry of Environment, Presentation on Draft Nation Action Plan for Artisanal and Small-Scale Gold Mining sector in Cambodia” and coordinate discussion for inputs. Mr. Sek Sophorn Attorney at Law Office Director, R&L Law Office, sharing ADR case study. Lastly, EISEI network members updating the emerging social and environmental impacts from the mining exploration and exploitation and in the provinces by the network members and discuss the joint work plan.
