Last week, the DPA-ICRC team in Stung Treng, in close collaboration with local authorities, successfully delivered 15 water tanks (500 liters each) to vulnerable households in Katot Village, Kamphun Commune, Sesan District. This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen community resilience to climate change and water insecurity during the dry season. The tanks were distributed to 15 of the most vulnerable households, including 7 women-headed households and 3 families with persons with disabilities (including one woman with a disability). These water tanks will provide safe and reliable water storage, helping families better prepare for droughts and dry seasons, and reducing the burden of water collection, especially for women and children.
