DPA in Stung Treng province organized a donor field visit from Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe (JUH) and the Johanniter team based in Cambodia. This field visit was part of the Sustainable Strengthening of Resilience of Vulnerable Rural Households, Communities, and Local Protection Structures and Mechanisms to Climate-Related Shocks and Crises in Stung Treng province, Cambodia Project. During the project visit, the donor and the team met and discussed with the community protection committee of the natural area, members of the vegetable production group, and the disaster management team of the village, commune, and district.

1. The donor visited the forest tree in the Community Protected Area and discussed with the community committee of the natural area about their participation in the management, conservation, and protection of natural resources and biodiversity in the community forest area, as well as the challenges and sustainability.

2. The donor visited and discussed with the vegetable production group members about the preparation of production plans, future harvest plans, and sales of products to the market.

3. The donor discussed with the village disaster management group (VDMG, CCDM, DCDM) about their participation in preparing village disaster management plans, including the dissemination of pre-disaster preparedness, emergency preparedness during disasters, and post-disaster recovery.
