From February 26 -27, 2026, the SABRE Project of Development and Partnership in Action (DPA) organized a specialized training workshop on “Minimum Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Standards for the Mining Sector in Cambodia.” The event was held for community members and local authorities in Mondulkiri provinces, with a total of 19 participants (including 05 women), representative from local authorities and community members.
📌 Objectives of the training:
– To introduce ESG minimum standards to local authorities and communities.
– To provide an opportunity to explore their foundations and discuss practical application.
– To strengthen the knowledge and skills of local duty bearers to protect rights-holders and ensure adherence to good practice standards from companies operating in their area.
