On 26 Oct 2026, the SABRE Project of Development and Partnership in Action (DPA) organized a dissemination workshop on “ESG Minimum Standards and Monitoring Tools for the Mining Sector in Cambodia” in Ratanakiri Province. A total of 17 participants (including 4 women) attended, representative from local authorities and community members.

📌 Objectives of the workshop:

✅ To promote awareness of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Minimum Standards and enhance participants’ knowledge of ESG guidelines, focusing on environmental management, occupational health and safety, labor rights, community engagement, transparency, and accountability.

✅ To strengthen the capacity and skills of duty-bearers to protect rights-holders and ensure corporate compliance using the ESG Checklist Tool.

🎯 As a result: Participants gained a deeper understanding of the ESG Minimum Standards and developed practical skills to utilize the ESG Checklist Tool for monitoring and assessing extractive industry operations in their localities.
