The DPA team and the Extractive Industry Social and Environmental Impact (EISEI) Secretariat organized the 47th EISEI Network Meeting on December 19, 2024, at the Cabodiana Hotel. The meeting was attended by 45 participants and facilitated by Mr. Mam Sambath, EISEI’s Secretariat and DPA’s Executive Director. Guest speakers from Renaissance Minerals (Cambodia) and Angkor Resource Corp shared presentations on the companies’ good practices in social and environmental management and their adherence to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.
Additionally, EISEI network members actively participated in the presentation sessions and engaged in vibrant discussions about the impacts of mining companies on local communities. The group collaborated to identify specific concerns and issues, proposing concrete actions to address them collectively.
