DPA, who is ALiSEA National Secretariate in Cambodia, co-facilitated with GRET and Uni4Coop organized ALiSEA’s workshop on “Sensitization of Agroecological Concepts to New ALiSEA Members”. This workshop allowed new members to learn more on ALiSEA Network, the theoretical concept of Agroecology, principles and practices of Agroecological principles of ALiSEA member in Takeo province where the new members will gain practical experiences and improve the agroecological principles application in their target areas. The event took place at the Alice Villa Hotel in Daun Keo, Takeo Province on Thursday, September 26, 2024 and visited field in Tramkok district, Takeo province.

Additionally, MS. SOK Chanraksmey, ALiSEA National Secretariat officer from DPA, presented the overview on ALiSEA Network to new members to deeply understand about goals, visions, and actions of network in promoting agroecology.

Mr.  MEY Veata, Programme Manager at Uni4Coop, presented the 13 principles of agroecology to new members of ALiSEA.

All participants visited to Oudam Soriya Agricultural Cooperative to understand the operation of AC in producing Bokashi fertilizer.
