On 26 May 2021, DPA ICD in Mondulkiri  Province distributed food kits to 116 most vulnerable IP households living in all six DPA Target Areas in Keo Seima District, Mondulkiri Province to help releasing food shortage during COVID-19 pandemic. The distribution was honored by the Provincial Governor, H.E Svay Sam Eang, accompanied by relevant provincial departments, commanders in chief, and local authority, distributed 5.8 tonnes of white rice, 1,160 cans of canned fish, 232 bottles of fish sauce, and 116 bottles of cooking oil. Each IP household received 50kg of white rice, 10 cans of canned fish, 2 bottles of fish sauce, and 1 bottle of cooking oil. The Provincial Governor was thankful and applauded DPA in the Province as well as whole DPA, especially to DPA Executive Director, for always helping the most vulnerable households during this difficult and normal times, and recognized the good cooperation and working in partnership with local government. Lastly, the Excellency urged all local authorities and relevant provincial departments to increase cooperation and collaboration with DPA to contribute to reduce poverty and implement its programme successfully.
