In December from 18th to 24th, 2024 The DPA Preah Vihear through the Climate Resilience for All project (CREFA) coordinated with CFMCs and CF members in Sra Em village, Sangkae I commune, Chhaeb district to led a transformative community-based carbon stock measurement activity. Over five days, 14 community members (four females and three youths) worked collaboratively to measure and manage their forests, demonstrating the power of local action to create positive environmental impact.
This initiative not only highlighted the critical importance of sustainable forest management but also enhanced the community’s ability to fight climate change and protect their forests for generations to come.
