#Chhaeb district ,Preah Vihear Province

In January from 14th to 20th, 2025 The DPA Preah Vihear through the Climate Resilience for All project (CREFA) coordinated with CFMCs and CF members in Chhaeb Lech village, Chhaeb Mouy commune, Chhaeb district to led a transformative community-based carbon stock measurement activity. Over six days, 60 community members (24 females and 19 youths) worked collaboratively to measure and manage their forests, demonstrating the power of local action to create positive environmental impact.

This initiative not only highlighted the critical importance of sustainable forest management but also enhanced the community’s ability to fight climate change and protect their forests for generations to come.
