On September 18, 2025, the Development and Partnership Action (DPA) provided anticipatory basic funds to 30 of the most vulnerable households to cope with disaster risks, including people with disabilities (PwD), the poorest female-headed households (FHH), and the poorest households (HH) from four villages in the Srae Krosang and Koah Sralay communes, Siem Bok district in Stung Treng Province. This support meeting was attended by Mr. Suong Hy, the District Governor of Siem Bok District, along with local authorities from the village and commune, totaling 36 participants. The fund aims to assist the most vulnerable individuals, such as people with disabilities (PwD), the poorest female-headed households (FHH), and the poorest households (HH), who are early impacted by climate change. It will be used for preparedness a few days before hazards and to help them cope with climate-related risks in agriculture, enhancing sustainable livelihoods that are resilient to climate change.
