Women’s Economic Empowerment Workshop

On 28_29 March,2024 Oxfam and Development and Partnership in Action organized a two-day workshop on Women’s Economic Empowerment for 25 leaders from five agricultural cooperatives in Kaoh Nheaek district. The workshop provided participants with essential entrepreneur skills and knowledge. The interactive sessions covered topics such as business development, market analysis, marketing strategies, and financial management.

Mr.Sdaeng Phalla, Deputy District Governor, highlighted the significance of the training emphasizing its role in empowering AC leaders to go beyond production and delve into market analysis and financial management.

The training was highlighted by a visit of buyers from the Netherlands and Germany, sparking discussion on organic certification and creating new opportunities for farmers in the upcoming season of Koah Nheaek distric
