🌱 The “Strengthening Accountable Business through Respect and Engagement” (SABRE) project of DPA organized a dissemination workshop on “Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) minimum standards and the ESG checklist tool for Extractive Industry (EI) companies in Cambodia”.
Mr. Rann Sophearon, Environment and Community Officer of Renaissance (RNS), contributed by presenting the company’s achievements and ESG practices. Participants included representatives from Renaissance, local communities, and authorities from Mondulkiri province.

🎯 Objective: To strengthen participants’ understanding of ESG principles and the use of the ESG checklist tool to assess mining companies’ practices. Key Outcomes includes:
1. Presentation of company achievements and ESG practices in surrounding communities
2. Guidance on using the ESG checklist tool
3. Participants equipped to apply the tool in evaluating mining company practices
