From 12–15 February 2026, the SABRE Project of Development and Partnership in Action (DPA) organized a training on “Skill Development Training on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Minimum Standard for Mining Sector in Cambodia” in Ratanakiri Province. A total of 42 participants (including 12 women) attended, representative from local authorities and community members.
📌 Objectives of the training:
– To introduce ESG minimum standards to local authorities and communities.
– To provide an opportunity to explore their foundations and discuss practical application.
– To strengthen the knowledge and skills of local duty bearers to protect rights-holders and ensure adherence to good practice standards from companies operating in their area.
