On April 7, 2026, DPA organized a joint visit to Angkor Gold Mining Company on the implementation of the principles of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards of Angkor Gold Company in Ratanakiri Province. A total of 23 participants, including 7 women, were represented from diverse sectors, includes Provincial Administration of Ratanakiri, relevant provincial departments, NGOs’ partners, companies, local authorities and local communities.
🎯 The objective of this joint field monitoring aims:
– To learn about the implementation of Angkor Gold’s Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) principles, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) standards
– To observe and evaluate how the company practically implements CSR, FPIC and ESG principles
– To learn and share experiences on environmental and social community initiatives supported by Angkor Gold in the community
📌 As a result of the joint field monitoring were successfully implemented:
– Participants learned and more understandings about company’s FPIC, CSR and ESG principles
– Participants observed and evaluated by using the checklist the practical implementation of Angkor Gold’s FPIC, CSR and ESG principles
– Participants learned and explored the experiences of communities supported by Angkor Gold
