19 June 2025, with strong collaboration from local authorities, the ICRC team in Stung Treng province has established one agricultural community (AC) in Kaoh Sampeay village, Kaoh Sampeay commune, Siem Bok district. This important event brought together relevant officials and community members, totaling 69 participants, including 41 women.
The establishment of this agricultural community marks an important milestone in strengthening resilience through cooperative farming and informed decision-making. Furthermore, it will create employment opportunities in farming, processing, and marketing. Additionally, this initiative will encourage farmers to learn from one another and adopt improved techniques, thereby enhancing local capacity to adapt to climate change and related disasters.
