The Development and Partnership in Action (DPA) organized a field visit to Renaissance Minerals Gold Mine, which is an Australia’s largest investment in Cambodia. The field visit was facilitated by Mr. Sven Sewell, Environment and Community Superintendent.
​This field visit was a crucial learning opportunity and discussion on the ESG achievements and practical implementation of ESG in company site and surrounding communities.
As a result, the company has provided opportunities, and significant employment conditions for local communities in the area.
Last but not least, ​the field visit was attended by representatives from the European Union (EU), donor partners (CORD UK and CORD Cambodia), and partner organizations including Oxfam, NGOF, and ANSA.
​This visit offered a valuable chance to learn from ESG practices and promote sustainable development in Cambodia’s mining sector.
