ALiSEA Network in Cambodia conducted the “Information and Proposal Writing Sessions for ALiSEA’s Small Grant Facility 2024” on 30th August 2024. There were 29 attendees in Cambodia, 9 females, from 22 different organizations of ALiSEA members, including civil society organizations, private sector organizations, non-governmental organizations, farmer organizations, academic institutes, research institutions, and international organizations.

Mr. KUY Sophal, Partnership Programme Coordinator from DPA, provided the speech to open the session and highlighted the commitment of DPA as the ALiSEA National Secretariat to bolster the promotion of agroecology under the ALiSEA umbrella. In the meantime, he mentioned about the purpose of the session as aimed to provide detailed information about ALiSEA’s small grant to ease the application process for ALiSEA members in Cambodia and enhance the writing skills of ALiSEA’s members.

Additionally, MS. SOK Chanraksmey, ALiSEA National Secretariat officer from DPA, presented the overview on ALiSEA Network and Small Grant Facility.

Mr. CHEA Dara, Administration and Finance Manager from DPA, conducted the presentation on the financial procedure of DPA to small grant.

Mr. MEY Veata, Programme Manager from Uni4Coop, provided the orientation on the Small Grant proposal Writing was explaining directly on the format of technical proposal, financial proposal, and administrative information.

Furthermore, Ms. MAO Theara, Research Assistant from ECOLAND, shared the experiences on applying for the small grant from ALiSEA as the successful applicant in 2022.
