In response to the Contract Farming (CF) agreement to buy and sell organic rice between Six Agricultural Cooperatives (ACs) inKaoh Nheaek district, Mondulkiri Province and the Cambodian Agricultural Cooperative Corporation (CACC), the DPA technical staffs began implementing production techniques according to the organic standards of the EU/NOP starting November 10, 2025. Under the intervention of the Development and Partnership in Action (DPA) in MDK, CACC began collecting organic rice from the Six agricultural cooperatives in Koah Nheaek district, Mondulkiri province. As of November 15, 2025, a total of 204 tons and 870 kg of wet white rice has been collected. The DPA team is continuing to collect rice from those Six ACs.
