On 17th-18th November 2022, the NGO Coalition on EI Governance including Cambodian Social Accountability Coalition (ANSA), Transparency International Cambodia (TI), and Development and Partnership in Action (DPA) organized a two-day training on TOT of Mining Fund Procedure and Mining Fund Procedure disclosure to communities at OKRA restaurant, Phnom Penh. The training participated by 37 participants (F:6) from commune councilors, EISEI network members, the affected community, and the representative of Mining and Energy (MME).

After the training participants will be able to:

• Understand the Mining Funds, Mining Procedures, and the approach to disseminating Mining Funds at the community level.

• Support authorities and communities where mining companies are located in disseminating the mining fund proposal request for community development

• Work collaboratively between the affected community and authority to obtain more mining funds benefit for community development.

Mr. Keo Tourt, Deputy Director General of the Department of Mineral Resources of MME gave the honor to deliver the presentation on understanding Mining Fund.
