Mr. Mam Sambath, Chairperson of the NGOF Board of Directors and Executive Director of DPA, presided over the opening of the 3rd Quarterly Members, Networks and Partners Meeting 2026, at the Cambodiana Hotel in Phnom Penh. The event brought together a total of 135 participants (51 women) representing civil society organizations, government institutions, academia, development partners, the private sector, children, youth, and community representatives, as well as other stakeholders. Mr. Mam Sambath stated: “Based on trust, mutual respect, and a shared vision, I am confident that we can make a significant contribution to the protection of human rights and children’s rights, and especially to sustainable and equitable development in Cambodia.”
The meeting provided a valuable platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and strengthening collaboration on key issues related to children’s rights and sustainable development in Cambodia. Discussions focused on climate change and climate finance, development cooperation, public finance, and the needs of children and vulnerable groups. Participants also discussed ways to strengthen multi-stakeholder collaboration and ensure that the voices and needs of children, youth, and vulnerable groups are reflected in policies, budgets, and development processes. The meeting concluded with the sharing of priorities and recommendations for follow-up actions, including engagement in key upcoming processes such as COP31, UPR, and the 2027 National Budget.
